THE HISTORY OF LUTHERVILLE LACROSSE
Lutherville Lacrosse has been serving the community since 1967. Through the years the program has introduced the game to so many kids and become a hotbed of talent.
The program has been able to leverage the success to create more opportunities for the young athletes such as traveling across the oceans to England. Partnering with the Stockport Grammar School the programs started a program hosting each other.
1967 - Program Established within the Lutherville-Timonium Rec Council (LTRC)
1977 - Program participates in international exchange play with Canada
1987 - International play expands to England with the Stockport Grammar School
2004 - New turf field is installed at Seminary Park, in part with funding from the program
2016 - New scoreboard is installed at Seminary
2018 - Program embarks on coach development program in partnership with USA Lacrosse
2019 -The rec program expands to offer it first club option for the 2027 boys
2020 - Boys club options are expanded to 4 teams 2030,2029, 2028,2027
2021 - Girls programs expands to offer club options.
