Summer Sixes!
Description- Lutherville Lacrosse is excited to offer our summer "Pick-Up Sixes" league. This league is designed to create a fun, relaxed environment where players can build skills, gain confidence, and develop a love for the game. This program focuses on playing, learning, and enjoying lacrosse.
Each session emphasizes fundamental skill development—passing, catching, shooting, and game awareness—through small-sided games and guided play. Coaches provide encouragement and tips throughout, helping players improve while keeping the focus on creativity and enjoyment.
If you're looking to sharpen skills in the off-season, players will get plenty of touches on the ball, make new friends, and grow their passion for the game in a positive, supportive atmosphere.
Location- Stevenson Greenspring Campus 1525 Greenspring Vly Rd, Stevenson, MD 21153
Dates- June 17, 24 and July 1, 8, 22, 29
Cost- $50
Divisions- Tyker 6:00-7:00 pm and Lightning 7:00-8:00 pm (Max of 50 kids per division)
Format- 6v6 (5 runners & a goalie)
Rules- Pick-Up style teams (new teammates each session)
-No long poles
-No takeout checks
-Faceoff to start the game & 2nd half
-Missed shots are turnovers
-After a goal, goalie clears the ball back into play
-Subsitutions happen on the fly
-Penalties- player must substitute out, repeated issues can lead to ejection from the game
