USA Lacrosse Clinics-

US Lacrosse’s Coaching Education Program (CDP) is a broad, multi-level program designed to help lacrosse coaches of all experiences become better on and off the field. The instructional clinic is one of several components to obtain US Lacrosse Level 1 Certification.   It is recommended that you take the Level 1 Fundamentals of Coaching Online Course prior to attending (included in the cost of your US Lacrosse Membership).  You will be required to have a current USA Lacrosse Membership to register to attend and will need to complete the SafeSport Course and NCSI Background check within 10 days of purchasing your membership.

Level 1 Clinics

Level 1 curriculum is designed to introduce coaches to the responsibilities and philosophies of coaching and how to provide a safe, positive and athlete-centered environment with an emphasis on sportsmanship.  You'll acquire the knowledge to teach using the Lacrosse Athlete Development Model (LADM) which the Lutherville Lacrosse Curriculum is based. Level 2 Clinics

Level 2 curriculum is geared toward coaching players who have an understanding of the basic skills and objectives of the game.  Coaches learn how practice planning fits into overall tactical objectives of their season. Coaches learn the overarching principles- OAPs- for offense, defense and transition which the Lutherville Lacrosse Curriculum is based. These are the building blocks for season, practice and drill planning. Click here for more info. Approx. 1.5hrs online and 4 hours on-field.

Level 3 Clinics

Level 3 curriculum is geared toward coaching players that have a deep understanding of the objectives of the game. Coaches receive detailed instruction on season, practice and game preparation with a focus on tactics. Coaches engage in critical thinking activities to build a higher lacrosse IQ for themselves and their team. Click here for more info. Approx 6 hrs of online and 7 hrs of on-field.
